This work arises within the framework of my experience in the Interdisciplinary Residency in Mental Health at the National Hospital in Network Licentiate Laura Bonaparte, where I had the opportunity to accompany various processes of health- illness-care, outlining guidelines for an ethical and political positioning of the professional role and consequently the way of practicing clinical work. The objective of this writing is to reflect on the construction of identity processes—both my own as health professionals and occupational therapists, and those of the users we accompany—through three lenses that are in constant interaction: the clinical, the ethical, and the political.
