Presentation of the dossier: Uncomfortable intersections. Disability, gender and care

Abstract

This dossier, the outcome of a postgraduate seminar, explores the interrelationship between gender, disability, and care from an intersectional perspective. The authors critically examine key categories such as the construction of difference, oppression, stigma, and emancipation, encouraging reflection on the inequalities and exclusions experienced by people with disabilities, particularly when these intersect with other categories of oppression, such as gender.
