Abstract

The aim of this paper is to share the experience of a rotation carried out in a mental health hospitalization service, during the months of October 2022 to January 2023. The rotation was
developed at the Interdisciplinary Residency in Community Mental Health, at the A. Ísola Zonal Hospital of Puerto Madryn. The paper discusses the questions and reflections that emerged during this process, as well as the perspectives and strategies that guide the interventions. This is developed around three axes: 1. Community approaches in a hospital service, 2. The temporal dimension of hospitalization, 3. The network of care as a social and complex dimension. The conclusion highlights
the writing of the experience report as an opportunity to deepen and expand the dialogues between occupational therapy and community mental health.
